Teku Decal Sheet

Approx. 5"x7" Waterslide decal sheet for making your own Teku Customs! Clearbacked sheet so should be used with light base colors. If using a dark colored car you need to trace white backing paper (of a particular decal you are applying) and apply first.

Apply waterslide decals by cutting them close to the edge, soaking in lukewarm water for 10-20 seconds, and sliding them onto a moistened surface. Position with a brush or toothpick, dab with a cotton swab or lint-free towel to remove moisture, apply decal setting solution (optional), and allow 24+ hours to dry.

Prep the Surface: For best adhesion, the surface should be glossy, not matte or satin.
Cut the Decal: Trim closely around the decal image using scissors or a sharp hobby knife.
Soak: Submerge the decal in lukewarm water for about 10–20 seconds. Avoid over-soaking, as this can dissolve the adhesive.
Prepare Application Area: Apply a small amount of water or decal setter to the surface where the decal will go to allow for easy repositioning.
Apply: Using tweezers, remove the decal from the water. Place it on the edge of the target area, then gently slide it off the paper backing onto the surface with a brush or cotton swab.
Position: Use a wet cotton swab or brush to move the decal into the exact position.
Remove Moisture/Air: Gently roll a dry Q-tip or lint-free paper towel from the center of the decal to the edges to remove water and air bubbles.
Set: Allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours.
Seal: Apply a clear coat or varnish over the dry decal for protection.
